All new for 2025, join award-winning authors and illustrator Jill Michelle Smith and Jennifer Watson for an egg-citing Easter trail around Waterloo Park, Norwich. Have fun finding 10 Extraordinary Extinct™ dinosaurs before collecting your roaring reward!


Discover some fascinating fossil facts as you explore the park and complete your trail sheet to receive your explorer's sticker and an eco-friendly 'dinosaur egg' to decorate and take home as a souvenir of their adventures.


This roaring fun event is ideal for families with children of all ages. Tickets can also be purchased with a pre-paid Extraordinary Extinct™ children's book of your choice (RRP £7.99) signed by the authors, for the special price of £10. Choose from An A-Z of Extraordinary Extinct Creatures, Extraordinary Extinct™ Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, Extraordinary Extinct™ Prehistoric Minibeasts: A First Guide to Fossils  or NEW Extraordinary Extinct™ Dinosaurs Activity Book on the day. Please present your ticket as proof of purchase when collecting your book.

There is no charge for family members accompanying a participating child. Select a start time between 12pm and 2pm (10am and 11am start time are now sold out) and collect your trail sheet from the bandstand to begin. Please allow at least 30 minutes to complete the trail.


Refreshments will be available from The Pavilion Cafe on site, as well as an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. We recommend bringing a picnic blanket to enjoy your refreshments, as we expect to be busy and park benches and seating could be in high demand. 


There is a small car park on site, as well as roadside parking available.
