What's happening?
Designed by award-winning local children’s publisher, Dodo and Dinosaur®, embark on an eerie expedition around Billingford Lakes & Country Park. From ancient marine monsters to shocking sharks, enjoy spotting ten Extraordinary Extinct™ fish on trail signs as you balance, climb, swing and tunnel your way along a beautiful circular walk and activity trail. Then return to collect a reward sticker and craft your own megalodon tooth medal to take home!
This fun event is ideal for families with children of all ages and each child ticket includes exclusive FREE entry for accompanying adults - a great taster opportunity to experience this stunning country park in the heart of Norfolk.

Collect your trail map from the tepee at the entrance any time from 10am to start the hunt. Last map collections are at 2pm, to allow at least an hour to complete the trail and megalodon tooth craft, as well as time to enjoy the adventure play as you explore!
A delicious selection of seasonal refreshments are available from the Lakeside Café catering bus on site. There is ample free car parking and the trail path is both buggy and wheelchair friendly. There is also as an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
*Free adult entry to Billingford Lakes is valid for the same date as your Frightful Fossil Fish Hunt ticket. This special promotional 'open day' offer is only available on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October. Normal admission applies on all other dates.
