It’s a bit of a myth that you have to break rocks to find fossils. In fact, searching for loose fossils on your doorstep can be far more fruitful. Inspired by our Gravel Hunters resource, created in partnership with the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, this fun and educational kit encourages beginners and family groups to safely discover common invertebrate fossils in a variety of environments. You’ll be surprised by what you can find not only on beaches, but in gardens, parks and even gravel drives!
